About Adding New Resources
Welcome Developers! In order to continue our efforts to help educators reach more families in better ways we would like to facilitate getting your resources into the hands of educators and ultimately families. We offer free advertising – everyone lists for free – and resources are available to view at any time. Our objective is to make all resources accessible (high- and low-cost, new and old, well marketed and not marketed at all). We want to make it easier for educators and family advocates to see and use your resources. Here are the options for doing this: Free resource listing Use of secure shopping cart A website established for your resources Description Cost Option A • Educators and families link to your website from ours, where they can find out more about the resource and/or purchase the resource Free Option B • • Basic Plan: You use our website to list your resource(s)/product(s), educators and families can add items to the shopping cart for purchase and we receive 15% of the purchase (if you sell you pay us, if you don’t sell, you pay us nothing). 15% of sales Option C • • • Premium Plan: We set up a website for you. You choose a name and look for you site – we design up to 5 pages, you get unlimited email addresses and forwarding (yourname@domain.com) and you don’t have to pay for your own shopping cart/credit card processing. 15% of sales + $95 set up fee and $50/year (or $5/month) Options B and C – How it Works: • We contact you via email or phone to notify you of an order. • You drop ship the order to the educator or family. • We send you a check every month for you total sales – 15%.Benefits of listing with fleconnect.com: • You make use of an already established system and don’t create anything you don’t need • You make your resource accessible to educators and/or families but avoid all the costs • We don’t stock resources, so you stay in control of your inventory • You save time and money: o 5-10% - you pay no sales tax - as a non-profit organization we are not required to charge tax o $30-$50/month for a Merchant Account o 2-4% or .50 transaction fee for Credit Card ProcessingWhat we ask of you: • Promptly ship orders. We are committed to helping educators reach more families in better ways. Whether your resource is going to an educator that will pass it on or directly to a family – we want that resource to make a difference for good. To do so we must be committed to quality. As the developer of a resource we require that you respond in good faith to our initial agreement (i.e. you send resources promptly to the people that order it and are ethical in your dealings). We understand that at times there may be a break in our lines of communication or for some reason there could be a delay in your getting the product to the end user. We will make your product available until we have had 3 reports of problems getting your product then we will discontinue making your product available. We make your product available as a service and for it to be a win/win situation we need you to keep your commitment. • Give us a link – instead of an affiliate program were you pay us per link – give us a link. Occasionally we will have a team of professionals review the listed resources. End users can review resources at anytime.
